Can a sectional title owner subdivide or consolidate sections? |
The straightforward answer is YES, but like everything in sectional title, it is not necessarily simple. The owner must get consent from the trustees first.
In addition the owner of the sectional title is obligated to pay a land surveyor or architect to do the plans for the subdivision or consolidation and submit them to the surveyor general for approval.
