What is a Quorum in a Sectional Title Scheme? |
A Quorum is the complicated word to state the minimum amount of people that need to be present at a meeting to make the meeting legal according to the act. A meeting can’t or should not be held if there is no “quorum” present. This amount varies and is discussed in articles and in the forum.
The minimum can constitute of people present in person or by proxy or legal representative. But if the minimum is not present, in other words there is no “quorum”, then the meeting is not legal and therefore any decisions made are not valid or unenforceable or a waste of time and should have been held anyway.
