What is an investment property? |
|
It is often assumed that an investment property is any property that one purchases because it grows in capital over time. Though this is a widely known view, is not exactly correct.
In actual fact and investment property is a property that was purchased and not occupied by the owner. It is for investment purposes and not primary home.
There are many investment properties, just to name a few: residential, commercial, industrial and holiday type properties.
Purchasing reasons are generally speaking divided into two categories: either for capital growth of for income.
